What is IGNOU MAJMC Admission?

Online MAJMC program lasts for two years with the option to extend it to four years. Applicants can enroll in Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU) MAJMC program if they wish to improve their skills and advance their careers in journalism and mass communication. Student must earn 40 credits annually out of the 80 credits required for this course. IGNOU MAJMC Admission Process 2025

Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication is a 2 year degree program offered by IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University). This course aims to develop skills in human resource in media and communication to help in change and rise the development of media.

IGNOU MAJMC Admission Application Process 

Step 1: Visit the website portal of IGNOU for online admission in website 

Step 2: Click on the registration button and fill the important and general information asked in a form to create an account

Step 3: Now loggin to your account from the generated username and password to get access for the student portal

Step 4:  Fill the registration form by filling all the necessary details which consist of educational, personal and course selection related information

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents of undergraduate degree marksheet or certificate, 10th and 10+2 marksheet, ID proof, scanned photograph and category certificate (if required)

Step 6: Now check all the sections of details you have mentioned in the application form carefully then proceed with the payment option

Step 7: After filling the form of application you need to pay the registration fee of approx INR 300  by the given payment options like debit/credit or net banking option mentioned in the official site

Step 8: Now submit the form application form after checking and download or print out the acknowledgement form for future records

Step 9: Wait for the confirmation call or email for the MAJMC admission from the IGNOU university side 

Step 10: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling process in the nearest regional center of IGNOU
