What is Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECE)?
IGNOU School of Continuing Education offers the 1 year DECE (Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education) program. This course is offered by the university in Tamil Hindi and English. Students can learn about young children (those under 6 years old) in the DECE course. This is an excellent short-term course for becoming a nursery or Anganwadi teacher in India.
