IGNOU Bachelor of Arts program lasts from 3 to 6 years and it is offered in both Hindi and English. A Bachelor of Arts program is offered by IGNOU during the January and July academic sessions. For the July 2025 academic year Indira Gandhi National Open University has begun accepting students for the Bachelor of Arts program in all of its offered specializations including English, Hindi, Sociology, History and Political Science. Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU BA Admission 2025
IGNOUs BA program in 2025 requires a 10+2 (or equivalent) degree from an accredited board as the primary prerequisite. There are no age restrictions or minimum percentage requirements for the general BA program. Fluency in English is also necessary because it is the primary language of instruction.

Registration form completion document upload and fee payment are all done online as part of the 2025 IGNOU BA admissions process. Applicants must sign up on the IGNOU Samarth website.
